In Case Anyone's Still Checking In.

My buddy just sent this to me. The music is kind of eh, but more than 7 minutes of pure brilliance more than makes up for it. I know I'll probably watch this about 100 more times before the season starts. You know, just to remind myself why I still love this team, even if I am still a bit disappointed. Enjoy.

E...I...O...P...What? That's not right?

Dear Mr. Gold Glove Mike Cameron,

I took the liberty for Bud Black of scheduling you for an appointment with Dr. Kawisch for an annual eye exam and perhaps a laser screening to aid you with your seemingly obvious vision problems of late. It's now that I find out about the good Dr.'s demise, so I've resorted to my backup plan. There is a burned out building behind a '68 Torino just outside the main plaza in Tijuana, Mex. I have it on good authority that there is a man there that does wonders for American corneas with just an exacto knife and some super glue. He said that he could fix your ojos up just right, he'll have your sentido back to normal in no time. It will be slightly disruptive, but he promised a short extraordinarily unbearable pain filled recovery that will be incredibly discreet. Think about it Mr. Gold Glove Mike Cameron, I'll be waiting behind the Omni with the car running to get you there and back before curfew.

Best regards,

CJ

A Night Of Good Signs

It's only one game, but 8 solids innings from Chris Young and an RBI triple from Kouzmanoff are nice to see. too bad it was the Nationals. Oh well, I'll take it. Let's see a little more of that dominance from last season, Young. And was that bionic face I saw coming around to score on that trip? Nice.

Gyaaah!

Randy Johnson won 17 games last year for the Yankees with an ERA over 5. Imagine what Peavy could do over there. This team is a run producing nightmare. For itself, not other teams. We've dropped to 4th in the division and sit dead even at 13-13. Not good, but at least we'll get to see some new faces. We won't see another divisional foe until June. It'll be interesting to see how the West stacks up this year.
